2019 Eastbourne 999 Show
This year we were pleased to provide medical cover for the show. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the ambulance service, fire and rescue service and police in action, but we also met the local community responder groups, coastguard, community awareness groups and more.
The morning began with a fantastic motorcade built up of many old and new vehicles, which made it’s way down the seafront for all the public. The weekend was also full of fantastic demonstrations with Police showing how they deal with rioting and antisocial behaviour and the ambulance service working alongside the fire service to free a trapped car crash victim. The weekend was a hit with families and locals, and although is was VERY hot outside, the patient count was minimal. We look forward to next year!
